Join us in the beautiful seacoast region of New Hampshire for an inspiring weekend of Gyrokinesis®. We will eat healthy, local food, enjoy a true New England autumn, and explore our movement potential and higher selves with this special movement retreat in a beautiful setting. Taught by Erika Hassan, a Gyrokinesis Master Trainer and protege of Juliu Horvath; we hope you can join us!!! All levels are welcome.

About Erika:

Erika met Juliu Horvath in 1993 in New York City, where she had moved to study dance. She had only been dancing for a couple of years and her technique consisted of equal parts force and desire. When she met Juliu, she was extremely grateful to find a teacher who could guide her into the inner-workings of her own dance. She trained intensively with him for the next 5 years in the Gyrotonic Expansion System. She went on to perform with Maureen Fleming, Jennifer Muller/The Works, Zen Companhia de Danca, Min Tanaka and Meftas Dance Theater. She is currently Associate Artistic Director of Soulskin Dance (director Adrianna Thompson). Erika is a Specialized Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Master Trainer. She travels the world teaching workshops and trainings.

About Alnoba Retreat Center…

Completed in 2016, Alnoba was created to develop strong leaders and strong communities; to help protect our wild places, support local farmers and promote health, awaken reflection and creativity through art, and foster mindfulness. At Alnoba, individuals, groups and organizations come to continue their lifelong journey of learning and transformation. It is a place where we connect with our higher selves and each other to create a way of being in the world that is sustainable, nourishing and bold. We believe that it is through deep personal reflection and connection to our humanity and the natural world that we access passion and purpose — transforming how we lead, live, love, build communities, and honor our planet. Be a Leader. Make a Difference. Go deep inside to come out strong. Care about Community. Live mindfully. Walk in nature. Eat local food. Find your purpose. Give back. Take risks.
